On our way

We've  done it. We packed up two suitcases each, got the dog cleared for international travel, and started a new chapter in Santa Catarina Brazil. The goals are to live a different way, engage in a new land with a  new culture, and learn Portuguese. We have spent six years learning Portuguese through lessons, tutoring, courses, and books. To be honest, it hasn't gone that well, especially for me. Everyone says that it will start happening now that we are living it, but time will tell.
